Papal knighthood conferred to Paul Barnett
Wednesday, 7 February 2024
Congratulations to St John's College Old Boy and Waikato business man Paul Barnett, class of 1970.

He was conferred the Papal Order of Saint Sylvester - one of five Papal knighthoods awarded directly by the Pope - on 16th January this year. The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A papal knighthood is typically awarded to acknowledge and honour Catholic lay people who are actively involved in the church.

A well deserved honour for an outstanding Marist Man!
