Zane was incredibly passionate about engineering when he was a student at St John's College. His other passion was to become a helicopter pilot. So much so, that he built his own helicopter while he was at school.
During 2019, he did a work placement at Longveld and was offered an apprenticeship. Now, he's only a few months away from becoming a fully qualified engineer. He is still working hard towards his helicopter licence as well. To finance this, he is creating these fantastic (commissioned) sculptures. What a multi-talent!
