Old Boy Michael Barnett calls it 'a busy few months', but we see it as a well-deserved recognition of his dedicated work as the 'Voice of business for Auckland and New Zealand'. At the end of 2022, he was recognized in the New Years Honours and awarded a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to business. His investiture was last week, celebrated with family and friends. And just a couple of weeks ago, he was also inducted into the New Zealand Business Hall of fame!
